Most leads do one job. The Transit Lead is built for the whole outing — the walk out, the moment on the roadside, and the drive home afterwards.

A woven bungee section sits in the middle of the lead and takes the snap out of a sudden lunge, so a lurch towards a squirrel travels through the elastic instead of your shoulder. Two handles give you a choice: the long one for open ground, and a second one just above the clip for pulling your dog in close at a gate, a junction or a narrow pavement.

At the far end, the handle clips into a car seatbelt buckle, so the same lead that walked out becomes the restraint on the way back.

Features

Shock-absorbing bungee: A woven elastic section that softens sudden pulls, for your dog's neck and your arm.
Two handles: A padded loop for normal walking, plus a rubber-gripped traffic handle by the clip for close control near roads and gates.
Car seatbelt clip: A flat metal tongue that fits a standard seatbelt buckle, so the lead doubles as a travel restraint.
Heavy metal trigger clip: A large swivel clip that opens with a thumb and turns freely, so the lead does not wind itself up.
Reflective stitching: Runs the full length of the webbing on both handles, for early starts and dark afternoons.
Spare D-ring: A metal ring on the lead body for poo bags or a second clip.

Good to know

A seatbelt clip is a restraint, not a crash-tested safety harness. It stops your dog moving around the car. It is not certified for impact protection, and a crash-tested harness and boot guard remain the safer option for regular travel.
Best paired with a well-fitted harness rather than a collar, particularly for a dog that pulls — a bungee still transmits force, just more gently.

How do I know it will fit my dog?

Every product page lists the sizes and measurements for that item, and the leads and harnesses are adjustable. If you are between sizes, measure your dog first and size up. If it arrives and the fit is wrong, send it back within 14 days and we will sort it.

How do I look after it?

Fabric leads, collars and harnesses: rinse the mud off in cold water, then air dry away from direct heat. Don't tumble dry, and don't machine wash anything with metal hardware. Bottles and bowls: rinse after use and wash by hand in warm soapy water.
