There is a moment after a wet walk, usually somewhere between the back door and the hallway, where the dog decides the whole house needs redecorating. The Fen Robe goes on before that.

It wraps the whole dog rather than draping over them — up around the neck, down over the back and flanks, and fastened underneath so it stays put while they shake themselves off and wander about. Coral fleece draws water out of the coat instead of pushing it around the way a hand towel does. Put it on at the boot of the car, and by the time you are home the worst of it has already gone.

Features

Wraps, rather than covers: Full coverage around the body and down the flanks, so the water comes out of the parts a towel never reaches.
Soft coral fleece: Absorbent and warm against the skin, which matters on a cold walk as much as a wet one.
Snap fastenings: Fastens at the neck and underneath, so it stays on a dog that will not stand still.
Machine washable: Goes in with the towels. Holds its colour and its softness through repeated washes.

Sizing

Sizing follows your dog's weight and topline — the topline is measured along the back, from the shoulder blades to the base of the tail. Weight will get you to a size; the topline confirms it.

Breeds are a rough guide only — dogs vary enormously within a breed, so the measurement is the one to trust. If your dog falls between two sizes, take the larger one. A robe with a little room still dries; one that is too short leaves the back end wet.

Good to know

It takes the water out of the coat, it does not leave a dog bone dry. Ten minutes in it does most of the work.
Coral fleece, not towelling. Softer and warmer against the skin, and it washes and dries faster.
Currently one colourway and three sizes. Dogs over roughly 32 kg are not covered yet.
Wash it with the towels, not with anything that sheds. Air dry or tumble on low.
Best put on at the car, before the dog gets into it. That is the whole point of it.

How do I know it will fit my dog?

Every product page lists the sizes and measurements for that item, and the leads and harnesses are adjustable. If you are between sizes, measure your dog first and size up. If it arrives and the fit is wrong, send it back within 14 days and we will sort it.

How do I look after it?

Fabric leads, collars and harnesses: rinse the mud off in cold water, then air dry away from direct heat. Don't tumble dry, and don't machine wash anything with metal hardware. Bottles and bowls: rinse after use and wash by hand in warm soapy water.
